Prophetess Fernella Williams, of the Hallal Praise Worship Tabernacle church, apologized on her Facebook page last night, after a video went viral of her praying for social influencers to be crippled. Williams was reacting to social media reaction of her request for each member of the congregation to give Pastor Bernard Boland $500 for his birthday. https://youtu.be/Am1r7Hl7PQY There are many things I can say, but me pending these lines are not from a place of defense but from a place of humility to ask for forgiveness and also apologize.I have read most of the comments and such has left me feeling quite uneasy. I also draw attention to my own personal conviction as servant of God. As a child of God my desire is to be a light, and live a lifestyle that would draw people to Christ and not turn them away from the church or the things of God.Without defending myself and making excuses, I ask for your forgiveness and also from my Senior Pastor Bernard Boland Jr and the entire Hallal Praise Worship Tabernacle family. The mission of this house is to be a voice of change, and I do want to demonstrate that change in everything I do and say.Fernella WilliamsFacebook https://youtu.be/qiw_hK9rclA Prophetess Fernella Williams told church members to give $500 each for Pastor Boland's birthday. Pastor Boland also weighed in on the isssue, stating the Prophetess Fernella Williams is human like all of us, and that he is not here to defend or condemn or cast judgement. "It is not in my rightful place to do such," Boland stated. What I will say though, is this. In my logical thinking, whether it be me, you, the Pope, the President or even the Prime Minister, we have all done things that we are NOT proud of and sometimes wish we could retract our statements. The old saying goes, “sticks and stones may break my bones but words can never hurt me.” Quite a lie from the pit of hell. I too have said stuff that I am not proud of. The good Lord is still working on me.Fernella Williams I’m sure is in a place of heart searching right now because I know her very well. I am 100% confident that her spirit will lead her to do the right thing before the night is out or even very early in the morning.Pastor Bernard BolandFacebook: Janelle Tracey Mason
